Will they match my status?

Several lines will grant you a tier based on status you already hold elsewhere. It is rarely advertised.

  • — You must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in the loyalty program of the brand you are matching from.
  • — Enrollment must be done by the guest. A travel advisor cannot enroll you.
  • — After you enroll, verification can take up to 7 days. You get a welcome email from the new programs when the match is complete.

Carnival Cruise LineCasino status match only — Carnival Fun Match
  • — Carnival Fun Match is a casino program: share a loyalty card from another casino and you may qualify for free or discounted cruises.
  • — Free cruises exclude taxes, fees and the deposit.
  • — You must be 18 or older to register.
  • — It matches casino play, not cruise loyalty. The page we read does not describe a Carnival Rewards status match.

Norwegian Cruise LineLoyalty Status Honoring Program across Norwegian, Oceania and Regent
  • — Members of Latitudes Rewards, Oceania Club and Seven Seas Society have their tier honored at the closest matching tier on all three brands.
  • — It works per cruise, not as a permanent tier upgrade.
  • — Requests opened Sept. 29, 2025. The first eligible sailings departed Oct. 15, 2025.

Celebrity CruisesCaptain's Club matches with Crown & Anchor Society and Venetian Society
  • — The Status Match Program is run jointly by Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity's Captain's Club and Silversea's Venetian Society.
  • — Matching is one-for-one: Classic to Gold, Select to Platinum, Elite to Diamond, Elite Plus to Diamond Plus, Zenith to Pinnacle Club.
  • — Registration and participation are governed by the published Loyalty Status Match Rules.

MSC CruisesMatch your status from another cruise line — one request only
  • — MSC compares your current benefits and matches you as closely as possible. You then receive the full benefits of the matched tier, booking discounts included.
  • — Approval brings an immediate 5% discount on any future MSC sailing, plus onboard discounts on photos, Wi-Fi and spa services, and complimentary gifts.
  • — Apply on the MSC Voyagers Club status match page or through a travel agent in MSC Book. The contact center cannot submit for you.
  • — You may apply only once. Multiple submissions are not accepted, so pick the loyalty program with the greatest value to you.
  • — A welcome email confirming your Voyagers Club membership arrives within 48 hours.

Virgin VoyagesStatus Match extended to air, land and sea — applications closed Feb. 28, 2026
  • — Travelers holding airline, hotel or cruise status were fast-tracked into the Virgin Voyages Sailing Club with Blue Extras perks.
  • — Blue Extras were added once, on a single sailing. After that the standard Sailing Club journey applies.
  • — The matched benefits are not an upgrade to the permanent Blue Extras tier. That tier must still be earned.
  • — Each access key can be used once and cannot be replaced if lost, expired or used in error.

  • — Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings runs a Loyalty Status Honoring Program across Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
  • — Your tier is honored at the closest corresponding tier on the other two brands, on a per-cruise basis.
  • — It began with sailings departing Oct. 15, 2025.
