Notice on accuracy

cruisepolicies.com is a reference, not a live feed. We read each cruise line’s own published policy pages on a schedule, write down what they say, and record the date we read it. Between those runs, a line can change a rule and this site will be out of date until the next refresh.

The cruise line’s own page is always the authority. This site is not. Before you pack a bottle, budget for a charge, or make a decision that costs you money, confirm it with the cruise line or with the travel advisor who booked you.

The refresh runs weekly. Every answer on this site carries the date it was last read from the source. If an answer has no date, it has not been checked and we say so on the page rather than letting it look verified.

• —We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any cruise line.

Published policies have exceptions: fare types, loyalty tiers, charter sailings, regional differences, and whatever your specific booking says. A page here can tell you what the general rule is. It cannot tell you what applies to your booking.

If the exception is the thing you are actually asking about, send the question and someone who books cruises for a living will answer it.

We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If a policy here does not match what the cruise line publishes today, send us the page you are looking at and a link to the line’s own page. We will check it, fix it, and re-date it.

Corrections go to hello@cruisepolicies.com or through the contact form. We do not need your booking details to correct a page, so please do not send them.

If something on this site misstates your published policy, write to hello@cruisepolicies.com from a company address and we will correct it. We will also remove a page on request from the company it describes. Payment does not change, soften, reorder or remove anything here, and we do not accept payment from cruise lines.
